About The Position

Under general direction from the Distribution Supervisor and in accordance with applicable policies and procedures, the Distribution Associate is responsible for all aspects of product distribution while meeting company standards and facility safety guidelines. This is a seasonal, temporary position in a warehouse environment.

The role includes receiving and inventorying product, filling and shipping orders, loading delivery vehicles, maintaining pick-department inventory, checking shipping documents, and handling special order services. The associate also helps maintain a clean and safe work area and reports facility safety issues to management. The position is identified as an AM shift, Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.; hours may vary and may require early or late shifts during peak season.

Requirements

• High school diploma or related field, or equivalent years of relevant and related experience.
• Ability to work well as a member of a team.
• Detail-oriented, with the ability to multitask.
• Ability to follow directions, read, count accurately, perform simple math, and write legibly.
• Demonstrated ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Working knowledge of SAP and common knowledge of sporting goods.
• For equipment operators, ability to work at heights of approximately 30 feet while correctly wearing a provided safety harness.

Nice To Haves

• A minimum of 2 years of distribution experience is preferred.
• A material handling certificate is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently empty and inventory received product containers.
• Fill product orders and ensure the correct products are packaged and shipped.
• Load appropriate products onto delivery vehicles for carrier pickup.
• Maintain product inventories for pick departments.
• Check shipping documents for accuracy and completion.
• Handle orders requiring special services, including stickering, relabeling, and packing-list application.
• Keep the work area clean and orderly to support safe and efficient operations.
• Note facility safety issues and report them to management promptly.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as required.
