About The Position

The Display Specialist designs, builds, and maintains store product displays according to direction from the Department Manager in each department. The role is expected to create 20–25 displays per week, work with the Inventory Control Specialist to submit write-offs and maintain materials inventory, and prepare a monthly calendar outlining the plan for displays to be built. All work must be performed honestly, ethically, professionally, and in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Requirements

• One year of construction or building experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential job functions.
• Demonstrated ability to follow and proactively adhere to safety regulations and policies.
• Demonstrated experience in woodworking.
• Demonstrated experience in tile setting.
• Demonstrated experience using power tools.
• Demonstrated experience using measuring tools.
• Demonstrated experience using basic tools such as a hammer, nails, T-square, and saw.
• Ability to exert 30–60 pounds of force occasionally, 20–30 pounds frequently, and up to 20 pounds constantly to move objects.
• Often use hands and fingers to handle or feel; frequently stand, walk, reach, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
