About The Position
At Nebraska Furniture Mart (NFM), the Floor Display Specialist works on the Display Team in a fast-paced, team environment focused on logistics and customer service. The team assembles, inspects, stocks, and builds product displays to attract customers. The role involves safely handling products, using mechanical aids and tools, setting up displays on the sales floor, and removing sold products and wrapping purchases for customer pickup. This is a part-time position.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Positive, upbeat attitude.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull the weights required under established departmental requirements.
- Ability to work night, weekend, and/or early morning hours based on business needs.
- Pre-employment screening includes a criminal background check.
Nice To Haves
- Six months of labor or warehouse experience preferred.
- Ability to use basic hand tools preferred.
Responsibilities
- Handle products safely and prevent damage.
- Safely use mechanical aids such as flats and dollies, as well as box cutters and power tools.
- Assemble and inspect products and display them on the sales floor.
- Remove sold products from the sales floor and wrap purchases for customer pickups.
