About The Position
Comprehensive Mobile Care (CMC) is seeking a compassionate and experienced Dispensing Audiologist (Part-Time) to provide care to the elderly. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care to seniors, with an emphasis on comfort, respect, and proper hearing health. This opportunity is best suited for a Dispensing Audiologist looking to supplement their current schedule and income, while making a positive impact on those in need. CMC is a family-owned healthcare organization with over 25 years of experience and a flawless ethical and legal track record. We provide on-site portable dentistry, podiatry, audiology & optometry at Senior Centers, Skilled Nursing Facilities, Assisted Living Facilities & Veteran Homes across 20+ states. All administrative responsibilities including equipment, supplies, billing, and scheduling are covered, as this is an independent contractor relationship where CMC provides the administrative services for you.
Requirements
- Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) degree from an accredited program.
- Active state audiology license.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to facility-based care settings.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in geriatric or mobile audiology care preferred.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive hearing assessments, including pure-tone audiometry, speech audiometry, and tympanometry.
- Diagnose and manage hearing disorders, including age-related hearing loss.
- Provide hearing aid consultations, fittings, programming, and follow-up care.
- Educate patients and caregivers about hearing health, communication strategies, and device maintenance.
- Work collaboratively with facility staff to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Ensure a comfortable and respectful environment tailored to geriatric needs.
