About The Position

The Dispensary Associate serves as a trusted advisor to medicinal cannabis patients and adult-use customers, helping create an environment where education, exploration, and satisfaction intersect. The role provides information about cannabis strains, effects, and methods of use so customers can make informed decisions. Associates deliver warm, informed service, record transactions in the point-of-sale system, and work with dispensary managers to help maintain a clean and organized dispensary. This is a part-time position located in Pensacola, Florida.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Recent and relevant hospitality and/or retail experience required.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• At least 2 years of customer service experience.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Positive and professional attitude.
• Ability to quickly learn and apply new technologies and systems.

Nice To Haves

• Ganjier Certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create a “Patients First” environment through excellent patient interaction.
• Recognize and respond to patients with ease and compassion.
• Maintain the highest level of confidentiality regarding patient information and interactions.
• Multitask, think critically, and work quickly to resolve problems as they arise.
• Create and execute patient orders based on physician recommendations and accurately deduct amounts from the Office of Medical Marijuana Use Registry (OMMUR).
• Keep current with company policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager.
• Educate patients and customers on strains, effects, and methods of cannabis use.
• Record transactions in the POS system and collaborate with dispensary managers to maintain a clean and organized dispensary.
