The Dispatcher supports fixed-route transit operations by coordinating operators, vehicles, onboard equipment, routes, and service information. The role monitors operator and trip status, manages scheduled and unscheduled detours, adjusts assignments to maintain on-time performance, and assists operators and passengers during routine service and emergencies. Dispatchers record work assignments, time worked, call-offs, daily service events, exceptions, and incidents using dispatch software. They also communicate service disruptions to designated staff and publish route information across digital channels, including the Tri Delta Transit website, after completing required training. The position requires radio and/or window dispatch experience in a fast-paced environment, strong communication and organizational skills, sound judgment, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and stressful situations. A valid Minnesota Class A or B CDL with air-brake and passenger endorsements and a current Verification of Transit Training certificate are required before entering revenue service. Dispatchers must complete customer service training and Keolis’ formal driver training program. Work may include operating revenue service and assisting passengers based on business need. This safety-sensitive position is contingent on passing a pre-employment drug screen and physical examination, as well as a background check. Keolis states its commitment to workplace safety, environmental protection, equal employment opportunity, and reasonable accommodations. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not provided.
