About The Position

WE Business Management, Inc. is seeking a Dispatcher to join their team. This role is crucial for ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of students. The Dispatcher will be responsible for daily scheduling, driver coordination, emergency response, and maintaining clear communication with all stakeholders. They will utilize dispatch software and GPS to monitor fleet operations and ensure regulatory compliance. The position also involves record keeping and working with management to improve routing efficiency and safety procedures. Requirements

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and dispatch software.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

Nice To Haves

Proven experience in dispatching or a related field is preferred.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred to effectively communicate with families, drivers, and staff.

Responsibilities

Develop and manage efficient bus routes and schedules, ensuring on-time student pick-up and drop-off.
Serve as the primary contact for bus drivers, communicating route updates and navigating traffic or weather-related issues.
Handle transportation emergencies such as accidents or delays, dispatching assistance promptly and informing relevant stakeholders.
Maintain clear and consistent communication with drivers, school officials, and parents to address any concerns or changes.
Use GPS and dispatch software to track bus locations, ensuring adherence to routes and schedules.
Ensure all transportation operations comply with relevant student transportation regulations.
Accurately document routes, driver assignments, and any incidents for reporting and analysis.
Work with transportation managers to enhance routing efficiency and safety procedures.
