Dispatcher - Part Time Weekend Overnights
About The Position
We are looking to hire a Part time weekend dispatcher to join our team. Hours are the same both Saturday and Sunday from 8:00PM until 6am. MERJ fleet Services, Inc. has been serving WNY and the surrounding areas since May of 2015. Launching with only two employees, owners Joseph and Rebecca LaPaglia, the company has grown to almost 54 employees. Vision and grit is what puts MERJ at the top in the heavy-duty diesel service community. - Dispatching: 3 years (Required)

Responsibilities
- Taking service calls and dispatching incoming calls for emergency roadside repair or towing services needed to the mechanic/technicians.
- Follow company protocol for documenting all necessary information on the repair or tow that is needed.
- Follow up with input of service calls and tows.
- Data entry of work orders given to you through email or hardcopy by road-service techs and mechanics from jobs completed on roadside or off site facilities.
- Processing of credit card phone orders and entering in payments collected from customers through the software application of Intuit.
- Entering payments by check and virtual credit card emails from customers.
- Call to get Event Number for thruway calls and close event when work is completed.
- Assist technicians/mechanics with questions relating to service and tow calls.
