About The Position

MERJ Fleet Services, Inc. is seeking a Part-Time Weekend Dispatcher to join their team. The company has been serving WNY and surrounding areas since 2015 and has grown to nearly 55 employees. Requirements

• Ability to take service calls and dispatch emergency roadside repair or towing services.
• Proficiency in documenting necessary information for repairs or tows.
• Experience with data entry of work orders.
• Skill in processing credit card phone orders and entering payments using Intuit software.
• Ability to enter payments received by check and virtual credit card.
• Familiarity with obtaining and closing event numbers for thruway calls.
• Experience using Thruway camera app, Life 360, and Fleetmatics Reveal.
• Ability to assist technicians/mechanics with service and tow call inquiries.

Responsibilities

• Taking service calls and dispatching incoming calls for emergency roadside repair or towing services needed to the mechanic/technicians.
• Following company protocol for documenting all necessary information on the repair or tow.
• Following up with input of service calls and tows.
• Data entry of work orders received via email or hardcopy from road-service techs and mechanics.
• Processing of credit card phone orders and entering payments collected from customers through Intuit.
• Entering payments by check and virtual credit card emails from customers.
• Obtaining Event Numbers for thruway calls and closing events upon completion of work.
• Using the Thruway camera app, Life 360, and Fleetmatics Reveal.
• Assisting technicians/mechanics with questions relating to service and tow calls.
