Requirements
- At least 1 year of current dispatching/dispatcher experience
- High School Diploma/GED required
- Experience with “live dispatch functions”
- TMW or Mcleod experience
- Tanker or ISO Experience
- Knowledge and understanding of DOT, HOS & FMCSA standards
- Teamwork matters here! This role requires someone who can communicate effectively, collaborate with others and contribute positively to a team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
- Scheduling of drivers and equipment to meet customer needs
- Ensure status monitor is current and address any issues with driver routes
- Coordinate equipment needs per loading requirements
- Dispatch and plan drivers for local intermodel/drayage operation
- Ensure all customer requests are processed and received
- Provide excellent customer service
