About The Position

This position is responsible for executing a daily plan for movement of all freight within an assigned area. The role involves assessing customer needs and timing of deliveries, managing the daily delivery schedule for drivers, and leading and mentoring dispatching staff. Responsibilities include planning deliveries to inventory-managed retail gas outlets, receiving orders from suppliers, gas station dealers, and renewable fuels distributors, and providing frontline customer service for existing accounts. The dispatcher will also answer incoming phone calls promptly and courteously, monitor email for incoming orders, inventory updates, and team communication, and monitor web portals for station inventories. Additionally, the role involves soliciting freight from customers, creating loads in the dispatch system, dividing dispatch responsibilities with other team members, and entering incidents into KITS (incident reporting system).

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
5 years of dispatching experience
Excellent conflict resolution and skills
Effective oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
