About The Position

This position is responsible for executing a daily plan for movement of all freight within an assigned area. The role involves assessing customer needs and timing of deliveries, managing the daily delivery schedule for drivers, leading and mentoring dispatching staff, and planning deliveries to inventory-managed retail gas outlets. The dispatcher will also receive orders from suppliers, gas station dealers, and renewable fuels distributors, provide frontline customer service for existing accounts, and monitor various communication channels including phone calls, emails, and web portals for station inventories. Additionally, the role includes soliciting freight from customers, creating loads in the dispatch system, dividing dispatch responsibilities with other team members, and entering incidents into the KITS system.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
5 years of dispatching experience
Excellent conflict resolution and skills
Effective oral, written and interpersonal communication skills

Responsibilities
