About The Position
This position is for a 911 Dispatcher at the Lonoke County Emergency Communications Center in Cabot. The Emergency Communications Center is its own entity and is not part of the City of Cabot or Lonoke County. Dispatchers receive 911 and non-emergency calls, gather the necessary information, and dispatch appropriate units in a timely manner.
Responsibilities
- Receive 911 calls and non-emergency calls.
- Obtain necessary information from callers.
- Dispatch appropriate units in a timely manner.
Benefits
- Starting salary of $40,516, based on scheduled hours; pay is $16.68.
- 12-hour shifts, with every other weekend off.
