About The Position
All American Facility Maintenance is seeking a full-time Dispatcher for their Sunrise, FL location. The Dispatcher will be responsible for creating, managing, and dispatching work orders using dispatch software, ensuring client needs are logged and prioritized. This role involves routing and scheduling electricians and maintenance technicians across South Florida, optimizing routes for efficiency. The Dispatcher will also handle inbound calls, diagnose the urgency of maintenance needs, and provide initial phone troubleshooting. Additionally, they will track and order necessary parts, materials, and tools for technicians.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in service dispatch, scheduling, or a related role within the electrical or construction trades.
- Proficiency in dispatching/CMMS software, scheduling tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage stressful, dynamic conditions while remaining highly organized.
Nice To Haves
- Basic understanding of electrical schematics, maintenance protocols, and electrical components is highly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Create, manage, and dispatch work orders in the dispatch software, ensuring all client needs are logged and prioritized correctly.
- Route and schedule electrician and maintenance technicians to job sites across the South Florida region, optimizing routes for minimal response time.
- Answer inbound calls, diagnose emergency versus routine maintenance needs, and provide initial troubleshooting support over the phone.
- Track parts, materials, and specialty tools needed for daily maintenance tasks.
- Order necessary supplies to ensure technicians are fully equipped.
