About The Position
Blue Dot Heating, Air Conditioning is seeking an organized Dispatcher to coordinate scheduling and support residential HVAC service technicians. The role involves dispatching technicians, managing customer service requests, coordinating routes and job assignments, monitoring calls through the service platform, and communicating appointment updates. Dispatchers also support field teams by adjusting schedules and resolving routing issues while maintaining accurate schedules and technician productivity. This is a fast-paced, in-office role in Forest Hill, Maryland, supporting residential HVAC service operations.
Requirements
- Prior experience in dispatch, scheduling, or call center environments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and multi-line phone systems.
- Familiarity with local geography to support technician routing and service scheduling.
- Must report daily to the office; remote work is not available.
- Flexibility to work assigned shifts and weekend rotations as needed.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities
- Dispatch HVAC service technicians efficiently to meet customer appointment times.
- Manage incoming service requests and schedule heating and air conditioning service calls.
- Coordinate technician routing and job assignments to maximize efficiency.
- Monitor call flow through the HVAC service platform and dispatch system.
- Communicate with technicians and customers to provide updates on HVAC service appointments.
- Support field teams by adjusting schedules and resolving routing issues.
- Maintain accurate service scheduling and help ensure technicians remain productive throughout the day.
