About The Position

St. Francis Medical Center is a Comprehensive Stroke Center, STEMI Receiving Center, ED Approved for Pediatrics, Geriatric ED, Level III Neonatal ICU, and Level II Trauma Center. The Central Transportation Dispatcher is responsible for the safe and timely transfer and transport of patients, equipment, and other materials throughout the health center. The Dispatcher has significant interaction with associates from several departments, physicians, patients, and visitors to provide excellent care and customer service in support of the mission and values of the facility.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required
BCLS within 30 days of hire and maintained current

Nice To Haves

One year of customer service-based employment, preferably in a healthcare setting, preferred

Responsibilities
