About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a part-time Surveillance Security Guard, also described as a Security Ambassador – Surveillance, in Kansas City, Missouri. The role involves monitoring security systems and screens to spot suspicious activity or potential threats, documenting incidents, responding to incidents, and helping protect people and property. Work may take place in settings such as security operations centers, call centers, and parking gatehouses.

The schedule is Tuesday through Wednesday, 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. The hourly wage is $18.57. Employment is contingent on successfully completing a background check and drug screening after an offer is extended.

Requirements

• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Have previous dispatch or related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Have a valid driver's license.
• Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Pass an extensive screening process.
• Have strong report-writing skills.
• Have sharp visual activity and exceptional concentration skills.
• Have strong proficiency with technology.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security systems to detect suspicious activity.
