About The Position

Downstream is a marketplace platform transforming the waste and construction industries. We are looking for a Dispatch Operations Representative (D1) to run supplier coordination and delivery execution, including confirmation calls, ETA follow-ups, outreach, and status management. The Dispatch team ensures that customer orders are delivered and resolves any issues that arise. Each ticket is assigned to one owner who is responsible for it from start to finish, including customer communications when a delivery issue requires them. This role involves high call volume, adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and performance-based pay. The working hours will be a full 8-hour shift with a one-hour lunch, aligned with delivery coverage needs, and confirmed with the manager.

Requirements

• 1–3 years in dispatch, logistics coordination, or high-volume phone work
• A confident phone presence — suppliers respond to people who sound in command
• Calibrated on urgency: you know what Critical means and you move like it
• Organized against the clock — SLA windows are part of the job
• An ownership mindset: no hand offs, no dropped threads

Responsibilities

• Run standard supplier confirmation calls at volume
• Chase ETAs on same-day and next-day deliveries
• Handle supplier outreach and follow-up across the known catalog
• Work standard product issues to resolution
• Manage supplier-side service denials and date-change rescheduling
• Confirm supplier side of swap and removal orders
• Direct Magic Hire task work and monitor output quality
• Keep flawless CRM logging on every action, every ticket
