About The Position

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Dispatch Coordinator to support daily fuel delivery operations. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact between customers, drivers, and branch operations, ensuring deliveries are scheduled efficiently, customer needs are met, and operations run smoothly.

  • Previous experience in dispatching, logistics, transportation, customer service, operations, or a related field.
  • Strong computer and data-entry skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • 1 Year of Dispatching experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Dispatch software experience.
  • Fuel, transportation, logistics, or distribution industry experience.
  • Experience with inventory management systems and forecasting.
  • Knowledge of DOT regulations and driver compliance requirements.
  • Experience coordinating routes, schedules, or fleet operations.
  • Leadership experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for customers, drivers, branch personnel, and internal teams.
  • Coordinate and dispatch deliveries to ensure timely and efficient service.
  • Review, process, and maintain delivery tickets, sales orders, and operational records.
  • Quote pricing and respond to customer inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
  • Monitor delivery schedules and proactively address service issues or delays.
  • Plan and assign deliveries to maximize efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
  • Assist with inventory tracking and support monthly inventory activities.
  • Verify completion of pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
  • Ensure drivers comply with company policies and applicable state and federal regulations.
  • Support forecasting and planning activities related to inventory and delivery demand.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and operational reporting.
  • Report accidents, incidents, or unsafe conditions immediately.
