About The Position

Based in Laverton North, you'll join our Bulk Fuels team and play a critical role in managing daily operational execution across a 24/7 national network. This isn't a role where you simply follow a schedule. It's a role where you actively manage one. You'll monitor live activity throughout the shift, work closely with drivers, customers, and operational stakeholders, respond to changing conditions, and keep freight moving safely and on time. Your ability to prioritise competing demands, communicate effectively, and make sound operational decisions under pressure will be key to your success.

Requirements

• Confidence working night shifts and rotating rosters
• Strong computer literacy and comfort working across multiple systems
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment where priorities regularly change
• Excellent customer service and stakeholder management skills
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritise in real time
• Resilience under pressure
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Comfortable working longer shifts
• Able to adapt to changing sleep patterns
• Resilient in a high-demand, always-on operational environment

• Experience in transport and logistics is valuable

Responsibilities

• Coordinating daily delivery activities across a live transport network
• Monitoring shift activity and responding to delays, breakdowns, and unplanned events
• Working closely with drivers, operational teams, and customers to maintain service levels
• Managing schedule changes and reallocating resources when priorities shift
• Ensuring compliance with safety, fatigue, and DG requirements
• Producing shift handover reports and maintaining accurate operational records
• Identifying opportunities to improve workflow, communication, and service performance
