About The Position

The Dispatch Coordinator Assistant will be responsible for answering and managing incoming dispatch calls, coordinating and assigning service calls to drivers, and monitoring active jobs. This role involves providing updates to customers and drivers, communicating service status and estimated arrival times, and ensuring dispatch information is accurate and updated in company systems. The assistant will follow company dispatch procedures and service protocols, and maintain detailed records of service requests and job statuses, utilizing VOIP and dispatch software to manage daily operations.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in dispatching, logistics, transportation, or customer service.
  • Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Excellent multitasking and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable using VOIP systems and cloud-based software.
  • Experience in towing, roadside assistance, trucking, or logistics industries.
  • Familiarity with dispatch software and CRM systems.
