About The Position

This role accelerates business values by utilizing last-mile routing software to plan and publish light-duty routes for the Reddy Ice ecosystem on a daily and monthly basis. This role will primarily be responsible for planning routes associated with our field service equipment technicians. When required, this position will assist in nightly heavy duty (HD) assets route planning operations.

Actively utilizes lean tools (VSM, Kaizen, A3, etc.) to inform and assess business opportunities to drive continuous improvement. Lead and participate in Kaizen and value stream mapping activities.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or GED equivalent
• 3+ Years of experience with last mile delivery software
• 3+ years of experience in route planning
• Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Outlook, and Teams

Nice To Haves

• Roadnet routing software
• Strong analytical skills
• Problem solving skills are critical in identifying and investigating routing issues under customer, fleet and labor optimization
• Make and assume other duties and responsibilities required or assigned by management.
