About The Position

The Dishwasher works as part of a team in a fast-paced restaurant environment, ensuring cookware, dishes, and utensils are washed, dried, and stored properly. The role also supports kitchen and dining-area readiness through cleaning, restocking, delivery assistance, and other tasks as needed. The Dishwasher must prioritize work, communicate effectively, and follow food-safety regulations and procedures. Employer-specific training is provided.

Requirements

Minimal work experience.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Exceptional time-management skills.
Ability to stand or walk for 8–10-hour shifts and lift at least 30 pounds.
Pride in work and willingness to comply with food-safety procedures.
Texas Certified Food Handlers Certificate required.
Communication skills and a positive attitude.

High school diploma or equivalent degree.

Responsibilities

Collect soiled prep tubs, pans, utensils, and other cookware from the kitchen; wash, dry, and store them.
Clean and restock cook stations and prepare dining and kitchen areas for the next shift.
Clean kitchen machines and appliances, including ovens, the makeline, and the cut table.
Keep the dish pit clean and organized.
Assist with unloading and storing deliveries.
Sweep and mop floors, especially when items are spilled.
Take out the trash and rinse garbage cans.
Assist other restaurant staff with tasks as needed.
Report kitchen accidents or violations of food-safety codes and procedures.
Keep the dining area ready at opening, closing, and during operating hours.
Set up the kitchen line before rushes and reset the kitchen at closing for the next business day.
