About The Position

Responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards for dishes, glassware, tableware, cooking utensils, and other kitchen equipment using machine and manual cleaning methods. This role ensures the kitchen and dishwashing areas are clean, safe, and organized, supporting overall kitchen operations and contributing to a positive dining experience. Must be willing to work as a part of a team to assure an enjoyable working environment, and quality guest experience.

Requirements

English reading, writing and communication
Able to stand/walk for whole shift, lift up to 50 lbs
All sensory skills needed.

Nice To Haves

Idaho Food Safety Certification is preferred
Restaurant kitchen and dishwashing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Clean and Sanitize Dishware: Operate dishwashing equipment and handwash delicate items to ensure all dishes, glassware, and utensils are properly cleaned and sanitized.
Maintain Steady Workflow: Keep a consistent flow of clean items available to support restaurant operations, prioritizing essential items for quick turnaround.
Monitor and Restock Supplies: Track levels of detergents, sanitizers, and cleaning solutions, restocking proactively to avoid disruptions.
Follow Safety and Sanitation Standards: Adhere to food safety protocols, ensure proper sanitization levels, and wear non-slip shoes at all times.
Support Team and Cleanliness: Assist staff as needed, clean and reset tables, and keep floors and surfaces free of spills and debris.
Assist with food prep
Cleaning and maintaining kitchen equipment to ensure optimal performance.
