About The Position

Legends Global is hiring a part-time Dishwasher at Fishers Event Center in the Food & Beverage department. The Dishwasher maintains kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in clean and orderly condition and helps set up and maintain dishwashing stations at events. The position reports to the Executive Chef/Sous Chef and is hourly, non-exempt. The role requires maintaining sanitary and safe work areas; cleaning dishes, cookware, kitchen surfaces, and equipment; handling trash; and transferring supplies between storage and work areas. The position involves substantial standing and walking, as well as stooping, lifting, and pushing or pulling equipment. A high school diploma or GED is preferred. Requirements

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Able to meet the physical demands of the position, including stooping, lifting, substantial standing and walking, and pushing or pulling equipment.
Must be able to lift 25 lbs to the waste.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

Maintain a sanitary and safe work environment.
Keep floors and walls clean and dry, including sweeping and mopping.
Scrape food from dirty dishes and wash them by hand or load them into racks or onto a conveyor for the dishwashing machine.
Wash pots, pans, trays, worktables, walls, ranges, refrigerators, and meat blocks.
Remove trash and garbage and place it in designated containers.
Steam-clean or hose out garbage cans.
Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
Set up, maintain, and work dishwashing stations at events.
Help keep China, Glass, and Silver in place and in order.
Perform other duties as assigned.
