About The Position

Pelican Bay Foundation is seeking a full-time, year-round Dishwasher to join its Food & Beverage department, supporting its coastal restaurants, Marker 36 and Sandbar. The role contributes to memorable experiences for members and their guests and works with year-round Food & Beverage managers, supervisors, front- and back-of-house team members, and seasonal staff. The ideal candidate is organized, collaborative, flexible, self-motivated, reliable, comfortable working under pressure, and able to work with diverse personalities. Open availability is required.

Requirements

• Open availability is required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and frequently bend, stoop, and reach.
• Ability to stand, walk, use hands to touch, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and talk or hear; occasional sitting is also required.
• Minimum high school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Any combination of education, training, and work experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the described duties and responsibilities.

Nice To Haves

• ServSafe food handler certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize dishes, pots, and pans.
• Keep dish and other storage areas clean, sanitized, and organized.
• Maintain cleanliness, including garbage removal and cleaning floors, walls, and equipment as assigned.
• Use and maintain knives, slicing equipment, and other food-preparation equipment.
