About The Position

Kendall’s Tavern & Chophouse in Coon Rapids, Minnesota, is hiring a part-time Dishwasher. This position performs dishwashing activities and is primarily responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of kitchen work areas, storerooms, and equipment. The Dishwasher also transports food, china, supplies, and equipment between storage and work areas. Requirements

Be available to work nights and weekends as needed.
Be comfortable standing for extended periods.
Be able to lift up to 50 pounds and continuously bend, reach, and twist.

Responsibilities

Scrape food from dirty dishes, rack china, glassware, and flatware, and wash them by hand or using a dishwashing machine.
Wash dishes, pots, pans, and trays.
Transport supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
Return clean kitchen utensils and equipment to their proper storage locations.
Clean kitchen equipment.
Communicate with the supervisor about supply needs and equipment maintenance.
Separate and remove trash and garbage and place it in designated containers.
Take out trash and recycling.
Clean and maintain the interior and exterior trash areas.
Sweep and mop floors.
Load and/or unload trucks picking up or delivering food and supplies.
