As a Dishwasher, your primary responsibility is to wash dishes, chinaware, flatware, cutlery, and crockery. Taking pride in the dishwashing station, you will maintain it in inspection-ready conditions in accordance with local guidelines. You get to operate pot-washing machinery and maintain a hygienic working environment in accordance with hygiene regulations and company standards. You will adhere to all sanitation guidelines. You will clean and sanitize pots, pans, utensils, and other minor equipment routinely used in the kitchen following established procedures. You will clean and sanitize dishes and related service ware. You will wash, wipe, sort, stack and load/unload dishwashers. You will store all cleaned items in an organized and safe manner. You will report any maintenance or hazard issues to the chief steward/stewarding manager. You will always maintain a clean and safe work environment.
