About The Position

Utility Cleaners support vital hotel functions and may work across departments, including kitchen, food and beverage, and laundry, to meet cleaning needs. Duties may include preparing clean linen and dining ware, operating and maintaining cleaning equipment and tools such as dishwashing machines, hand-wash stations, linen washers, and dryers, and transporting dishware or linens throughout the hotel.

The role requires creating a safe workplace, following company policies and procedures, upholding quality standards, and maintaining a professional uniform, appearance, and communication. Associates develop positive working relationships with employees and departments, support team goals, respond appropriately to colleagues’ concerns, and report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to a manager. Other reasonable duties may be assigned by supervisors.

Requirements

• No related work experience is required.
• No supervisory experience is required.
• No license or certification is required.
• Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
• Ability to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period.
• Ability to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.

Nice To Haves

• No high school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
