About The Position
Domino’s Dishwashers are dedicated, organized team members who work in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The role is responsible for collecting soiled cookware and dishware, washing and drying it thoroughly, and storing it in the proper place. Dishwashers also help prepare kitchen and dining areas for shifts, maintain and clean equipment and work areas, handle deliveries and trash, and support other restaurant staff as needed. They must prioritize tasks, communicate effectively, and follow food-safety regulations and procedures. On-the-job training is provided for employer-specific functions.
Requirements
- Minimal work experience; prior experience is not required, and relevant training is provided on the job.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Exceptional time-management skills and ability to prioritize tasks in a busy setting.
- Ability to stand or walk for 8–10-hour shifts and lift at least 30 pounds.
- Pride in work and a positive attitude.
- Willingness to comply with food-safety procedures.
- Texas Certified Food Handlers Certificate required.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or equivalent degree is a plus, but not required.
Responsibilities
- Collect soiled prep tubs, pans, utensils, cookware, and other dishware from the kitchen; wash, dry, and store them.
- Clean and restock cook stations and prepare dining and kitchen areas for the next shift.
- Clean kitchen machines and appliances, including ovens, the makeline, and the cut table.
- Keep the dish pit clean and organized.
- Assist with unloading and storing deliveries.
- Sweep and mop floors, especially when items are spilled.
- Take out trash and rinse garbage cans.
- Assist other restaurant staff with tasks as needed.
- Report kitchen accidents or violations of food-safety codes and procedures.
- Keep the dining area ready at opening, closing, and during operating hours.
- Set up the kitchen line before rushes and reset the kitchen at closing for the next business day.
