About The Position

Domino’s Delivery Drivers provide excellent customer service while transporting orders safely and promptly. They assemble, load, transport, and deliver items on assigned routes while following road-safety requirements. Drivers are expected to be polite, thorough, punctual, and committed to providing a positive customer experience. The role requires clean, reliable transportation with valid insurance and includes delivery duties as well as occasional backup support for restaurant operations and cleaning.

Requirements

Own reliable transportation that is kept clean and free of debris, with valid insurance.
Be able to read, understand, and follow a map.
Pass a criminal background check and a motor vehicle record check.
Hold a Texas Certified Food Handlers Certificate.
Be able to understand and work with numbers.
Follow directions and achieve goals.
Demonstrate strong customer-service and interpersonal skills.
Follow a schedule, arrive on time, wear the proper uniform, and work swiftly with smart hustle.
Communicate effectively with a variety of clientele.
Have two years of driving experience and history if age 18, or one year if age 19 or older.

Nice To Haves

A high school diploma or equivalent is a plus but is not required.
Customer-service experience is helpful but not required.
Prior experience is not required; job-specific training is provided.

Responsibilities

Arrive on time in complete uniform, with a clean vehicle and a full tank of gas.
Use a lit car-top sign at all times during deliveries.
Assemble orders accurately, including extras such as dipping cups and sodas.
Route orders to yourself in the Pulse routing program within one minute of leaving the store.
Move safely and promptly between the store, vehicle, and customers’ doors.
Transport hot items in a heat bag and cold items in a plastic T bag.
Load assigned orders into a clean, safe vehicle approved for Domino’s delivery.
Drive safely and obey traffic laws; do not make additional stops without specific permission.
Collect customer payments, provide correct change, and obtain signatures for credit- and debit-card transactions.
Track cash and receipts and balance them at the end of the shift; use a drop box to keep cash in the bank bag under $20 and do not keep money in the vehicle.
Listen to and resolve customer complaints, suggestions, and inquiries.
Keep the driver area, box hutch, and other box-stocking areas clean, organized, and stocked.
At closing, check that the dining area is clean and stocked.
Keep heat bags clean and free of rips and tears.
Sweep regularly and mop as needed, with mopping required every night.
Wash dishes when no dishwasher is on shift.
Help cook and work in the kitchen when necessary as backup.
Occasionally assist with phone, counter, or window orders.
Perform general store cleaning.
