About The Position

Domino’s Pizza is hiring delivery drivers to deliver products to customers and support general store operations. The role offers a flexible schedule and opportunities for advancement, including into management and franchise ownership. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. Drivers deliver products by car to customers’ doors, deliver flyers and door hangers, and may make several deliveries per shift. Store duties include operating equipment, stocking ingredients and supplies, preparing products, receiving and processing telephone orders, taking inventory, completing paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility. The position involves working in changing store temperatures and sometimes adverse weather, as well as exposure to food odors, cornmeal dust, hot surfaces, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. Physical activities include standing, walking, sitting for paperwork, lifting and carrying supplies, pushing or pulling trays, climbing stairs or ladders, bending, crouching, reaching, and frequent use of hands and arms. Delivery work also involves carrying pizzas and beverages, traveling between the store, vehicle, and customer locations, and potentially climbing five or more flights of stairs.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age.
Have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
Have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
Have navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
Be able to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying products.
Comprehend and give correct written instructions.
Communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders by phone and in person.
Add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly, and make correct monetary change.
Have verbal, writing, and telephone skills for taking and processing orders.
Have the motor coordination to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
Be able to work alone and with others, perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, meet quality-control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
Be able to perform the physical activities described, including lifting deliveries weighing up to 50 pounds, carrying products, walking, climbing, bending, crouching, reaching, and frequent hand use.
Have far and night vision for driving.

Responsibilities

Deliver products by car to customers’ doors within the designated delivery area.
Deliver flyers and door hangers.
Operate store equipment.
Stock ingredients and supplies from the delivery area to storage and work areas, including the walk-in cooler.
Prepare products.
Receive and process telephone orders, including entering orders by computer keyboard or touch screen.
Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
Carry pizzas and beverages during delivery and travel between the store, delivery vehicle, and customer locations.
Navigate delivery areas, including adverse terrain and multi-story buildings.
