About The Position

Touchmark at Mt. Bachelor Village is hiring a part-time Dishwasher for its Dining Services department in Bend, Oregon. The Dishwasher primarily handles dishwashing at the resort-style restaurants and may assist with other back-of-house duties to help the kitchen run smoothly. The role offers guaranteed hours, opportunities for growth, and a team environment, with no late-night shifts; closing shifts end before 9:00 p.m. The available schedule is Monday 11:30 a.m.–8:00 p.m., Thursday 8:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m., Friday 8:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m., Saturday 8:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m., and Sunday 11:30 a.m.–8:00 p.m. The starting pay is $18.78 per hour, with the possibility of more depending on experience. The role includes paid time off and bonuses. The work contributes to the well-being of senior residents and requires a service-minded approach, teamwork, and adherence to Touchmark’s standards.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
Able to read, write, and speak English.
Patient, tactful, and flexible when interacting with residents, family members, volunteers, visitors, physicians, staff members, and the general public.
Adhere to Touchmark Gold Standards of behavior and performance, including Excellence, Teamwork, Hospitality, Integrity, and Compassion.
Willing and able to work holidays and weekends.
Genuine interest in caring for elderly residents and working in a geriatric environment.
Willingness to continue learning and improving skills, and commitment to confidentiality.
Able to pass a drug test and background check.

Responsibilities

Operate the equipment necessary to perform the position’s essential functions.
