About The Position
Unidine is hiring full-time and part-time Dishwashers at Cornerstone Senior Living in Texarkana, Texas. The schedule varies by day and hour, and weekend and holiday availability is required. The Dishwasher maintains dishes, pots, pans, trays, kitchen areas, work areas, equipment, and utensils in orderly and sanitary condition. Duties include cleaning dishes and kitchen equipment, maintaining safe and sanitary conditions, keeping dish areas orderly, handling supplies and waste, and assisting with loading and unloading supplies and products. Responsibilities
- Scrape and rinse food from dishes and wash them by hand or load them into racks or a dishwashing machine.
- Ensure dishes and kitchen equipment are completely clean and sanitary.
- Wash pots, pans, and trays according to assigned procedures.
- Polish silver using assigned equipment and procedures.
- Follow outlined safety procedures.
- Maintain temperatures and chemical levels according to provided standards.
- Keep the dish area orderly and compliant with safety standards.
- Sweep and mop kitchen floors to meet safety and sanitation standards.
- Wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks, and other food preparation surfaces.
- Remove trash and place it in designated containers; steam clean or hose out garbage cans.
- Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
- Help load and unload supplies and products.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
