DISHWASHER (FULL AND PART TIME)
About The Position
Unidine is hiring full-time and part-time Dishwashers at Cornerstone Senior Living in Texarkana, Texas. The role maintains dishes, pots, pans, trays, kitchen areas, work areas, equipment, and utensils in an orderly and sanitary condition. Schedules vary by days and hours, and weekend and holiday availability is required. The Dishwasher scrapes and rinses food from dishes before handwashing or using a dishwashing machine, cleans pots, pans, and trays, and polishes silver according to assigned procedures and equipment. The role also supports kitchen cleanliness and safety by monitoring temperatures and chemical levels, keeping the dish area orderly, cleaning surfaces and floors, removing and cleaning trash containers, and moving or loading supplies and products. Other duties may be assigned. Requirements
- Back-of-house experience is required.

Responsibilities
- Scrape and rinse food from dirty dishes and wash them by hand or load them into a dishwashing machine, ensuring cleanliness and sanitation.
- Wash pots, pans, and trays according to assigned procedures, ensuring cleanliness and sanitation.
- Polish silver using assigned equipment and procedures, ensuring cleanliness and sanitation.
- Follow outlined safety procedures.
- Maintain temperatures and chemical levels according to provided standards.
- Keep the dish area orderly and compliant with safety standards.
- Sweep and mop kitchen floors in compliance with safety and sanitation standards.
- Wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks, and other food-preparation surfaces.
- Remove trash to designated containers and steam-clean or hose out garbage cans.
- Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
- Help load and unload supplies and products.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
