DISHWASHER (FULL AND PART TIME)
About The Position
The Dishwasher maintains dishes, pots, pans, trays, kitchen areas, work areas, equipment, and utensils in an orderly and sanitary condition. The role is based at Foundry & Lux, 151 Oyster Point Boulevard, Building 3, South San Francisco, California. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with further details provided during the interview. Full-time and part-time positions are available. Previous dishwashing, cleaning, and delivery organization experience is preferred; training is available. The position involves washing dishes by hand or machine, cleaning kitchen equipment and surfaces, maintaining safety and sanitation standards, managing trash, and moving supplies and products. The pay range is $19.00 to $21.00 per hour. Bon Appétit offers associates benefits, with some benefits available only to full-time employees.

Responsibilities
- Scrape and rinse food from dirty dishes, then wash them by hand or load them into a dishwashing machine; ensure cleanliness and sanitation.
- Wash pots, pans, and trays according to assigned procedures and ensure cleanliness and sanitation.
- Polish silverware using assigned equipment and procedures, ensuring cleanliness and sanitation.
- Follow established safety procedures.
- Maintain temperatures and chemical levels according to provided standards.
- Keep the dish area orderly and compliant with safety standards.
- Sweep and mop kitchen floors in compliance with safety and sanitation standards.
- Wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks, and other food preparation surfaces.
- Remove trash to designated containers and steam-clean or hose out garbage cans.
- Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
- Help load and unload supplies and products.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
