About The Position

Seafields by Bishop Gadsden is a new luxury community with a people-first culture focused on supporting its culinary and dining teams. The Dishwasher, identified in the job objective as the Utility Person, cleans and sanitizes food-service equipment and dishes, maintains service areas, and helps ensure compliance with applicable standards. The role supports meal service before and after dining and includes advance preparation and food-storage tasks. The posting notes that the position does not involve night shifts and pays $17.00 per hour.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to stoop, bend, reach, and lift approximately 50 pounds.
• Ability to work professionally and interact with coworkers, supervisors, and residents as needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain floors, counters, walls, the dish room, and service areas in immaculate condition.
• Use cleaning and sanitizing agents safely and according to directions.
• Clean and safely store dishes and pans efficiently.
• Remove trash to the dumpster, replace trash-can liners as needed, and break down boxes for disposal.
• Perform advance preparation tasks as required.
• Work independently while following proper direction.
• Check and record temperatures as necessary to fulfill assigned duties.
• Assist with proper and sanitary food storage at the close of meal service.
• Complete assigned duties effectively, in a timely manner, and professionally.
