About The Position

The Dishwasher (Steward) cleans, transports, and stores china, glassware, silver, silverware, pots, and pans used in food and beverage operations. The role supports the company’s goals, objectives, vision, mission, and values as an active business partner. The posting offers a $1,000 signing bonus to applicants hired full time: $500 after 90 days and $500 after 180 days, provided they consistently work full-time hours and remain in good standing.

Requirements

• Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English.
• Ability to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to six hours at a time.
• Ability to regularly lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in extreme temperatures, including freezers at -10°F and kitchens at +110°F.
• Ability to occasionally push and pull carts and equipment weighing up to 200 pounds.
• Ability to perform tasks involving grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening, hearing, and visual acuity.
• Ability to walk, stand, sit, bend, stoop, squat, stretch, and perform cleaning tasks.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous stewarding experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of all dish machines.
• Assist with delivering hot and cold food for banquet functions.
• Set up banquet breakdown stations.
• Clean, sanitize, and properly store china, glassware, silver, silverware, pots, and pans.
• Prioritize cleanliness, sanitation, and recycling.
• Ensure restaurant and banquet kitchens are consistently stocked with appropriate amounts of equipment.
• Sanitize and clean kitchen floors, recycle bins, and oil bins.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the recycle/trash room.
• Assist with removing used linen and restocking linen.
