The Dishwasher is a vital member of the Rustler Lodge kitchen team, responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and sanitation of all dishes, glassware, utensils, and kitchen areas that keep our award-winning dining operation running smoothly. This role supports the entire culinary team by ensuring that clean, properly stored equipment is always available and that kitchen and dining areas meet the Rustler's high standards of cleanliness and safety. The Dishwasher is an entry level position well-suited to a hardworking, detail-oriented individual who takes pride in contributing to a team committed to "service above all.”

Must be able to obtain a valid Utah food handler permit
Must be able to stand for long periods, bend, stretch, lift, and carry heavy materials

Responsibilities

Show up on time, in uniform ready to work
Scrape and sort dishes before loading them into a dishwashing machine for cleaning
Monitor dish machine water temperature and detergent levels
Unload dishwashing machine and properly put away utensils and dishes
Sweep and scrub kitchen floors to ensure a clean and safe work area
Bag kitchen trash and transport to the dumpsters, maintaining the cleanliness of this area as well
Assist in the preparation and serving of food as may be required
Stock supplies such as food items and utensils in kitchen and storage areas
Maintain dishwashing machine and report any mechanical faults to supervisor
Stock and arrange kitchen utensils and dishes in the existing organization and locations
Handle glassware and other fragile tableware to prevent breakage
Execute daily chore lists and duties
Perform additional tasks as assigned by management
