About The Position

Central Market is seeking a Production Representative to handle fresh, quality ingredients. Assignments vary by store department. The role involves production and stocking tasks, maintaining sanitation and organization, supporting product quality and inventory, and providing customer service. Availability for days, evenings, and weekends is required; overnight work and flexible schedules may also be required.

Requirements

Responsibilities

Mix, shape, bake, wrap, and stock products.
Ensure product quality before products are sent to the sales floor.
Maintain department sanitation and organize back storage, the freezer, walk-in, and production area.
Read and execute the daily production list.
Provide customer service, including answering questions and taking phone orders.
Assist in monitoring the quality of goods and monitor shrink.
Order and receive products and supplies, and maintain transfer records.
Prepare, wrap, price, sell, and continuously stock products.
Prepare customer samples or conduct demonstrations.
Use suggestive selling techniques to maximize sales.
Perform other job-related tasks as requested by a supervisor, subject to reasonable accommodations.
