About The Position

The Grand Gardner Hotel, an Urschel Development property, is seeking a dependable and service-focused team member to join as a Part-time Dishwasher. This boutique hotel, located in Downtown Valparaiso, IN, is designed to be welcoming to both guests and employees. It features 58 rooms and suites, a speakeasy, banquet space, and inviting shared spaces. The hotel emphasizes teamwork, hands-on training, and employee growth, encouraging learning, idea sharing, and pride in creating great guest experiences within a supportive, close-knit team. This part-time position is expected to work approximately 15–25 hours per week, with evening, weekend, and holiday availability preferred. The Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of all dishes, cookware, utensils, glassware, and kitchen equipment used in restaurant and banquet operations. This role supports the culinary team by ensuring clean, organized, and properly stocked work areas while adhering to all health, safety, and sanitation standards. The Dishwasher assists with kitchen cleanliness, waste removal, and the proper storage of cleaned items to help ensure efficient daily operations and exceptional guest experiences.

Requirements

• Ability to stand for 8 hours.
