Dishwasher (Full Time, 12pm - 8:30pm)
About The Position
Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is hiring a full-time Dishwasher to help maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and dining areas of a long-term care facility. The role supports the preparation and service of nutritious meals and positive experiences for residents, staff, and guests. The position is scheduled from 12:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Pay is $16.90–$17.25 per hour, with wages varying based on factors such as location, experience, staffing needs, and other business reasons. The Dishwasher washes kitchen items, sanitizes equipment and work areas, follows food safety and sanitation guidelines, and disposes of waste and recycling. The role requires the ability to complete repetitive tasks, work around food and cleaning products, and meet the stated physical demands. A current ServSafe or Food Handler certification is required where mandated by state or county law, and residency within the service area is required.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a food service or kitchen environment preferred, but not required.
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
- Maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership.
- Comply with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
- Ability to lift or carry up to 30 pounds and push or pull up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
- Current ServSafe or Food Handler certification where required by state or county law.
- Ability to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously.
- Ability to work around food and cleaning products.
- Residency within the service area is required.
