About The Position

A Kolter Hospitality Dishwasher supports the Kitchen team by keeping the kitchen clean, orderly, and sanitized. The position is responsible for cleaning dishes, flatware, and related equipment, and for maintaining a safe and sanitary work area in accordance with company, local, and state guidelines. The role also includes setting up hot boxes, helping with plate-up, and assisting with bussing when needed. This job is part-time at the Hilton Bayfront St. Pete in St. Petersburg, Florida. No prior experience or education is required. A pre-employment drug test and background check are required.

Requirements

• Able to work weekends.
• Report to work on time and in proper uniform.
• Ability to stand and walk for up to 8 hours.
• Occasional lifting, pushing, and pulling.
• Must frequently immerse hands in water.
• Pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.

Responsibilities

• Operate the dish machine as prescribed to clean and sanitize china, glassware, silver, pots, pans, and other items according to product and cleaning standards.
• Maintain and clean kitchen floors and mats during and at the end of shifts.
• Store and organize glassware, plates, flatware, and kitchen equipment in the proper racks.
• Clean walls and kitchen equipment and empty trash cans promptly.
• Use, store, and label chemicals correctly.
• Set up hot boxes and assist with plate-up when needed.
• Assist with bussing when necessary.
• Report items needing repair and immediately report faulty or broken equipment.
• Keep work areas safe, clean, and orderly while following health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
