About The Position

Maple & Rye is hiring an energetic, task-oriented Dishwasher to support the kitchen team. The role involves operating an industrial dishwasher, washing items by hand when needed, maintaining clean work areas, following sanitation and health protocols, and helping other kitchen staff as needed. The restaurant is busy and growing, and advancement opportunities may be considered for the right candidate. Experience is greatly preferred, though no experience is necessary. The position offers flexible part-time or full-time scheduling, with wages starting at $16 per hour.

Responsibilities

Operate the industrial dishwasher.
Wash glassware and other implements by hand when necessary.
Empty and clean all trash receptacles.
Perform daily cleaning duties.
Follow sanitation policies at all times.
Assist the prep cook and other kitchen staff as needed, especially during peak times.
Perform opening, closing, and side work.
Clean up spills or broken glassware immediately.
