About The Position

Dishwashers wash dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and other food-preparation equipment used in the deli. They help ensure department sanitation, cleanliness, and safety standards are met and provide excellent, professional customer service. The role may also support counter and barista service, basic food preparation, packaging, and labeling when needed.

Requirements

Available to work the evening shift, including weekends.
Ability to work independently and be accountable to the deli team.
Ability to work in a busy kitchen environment.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to meet physical requirements including standing, twisting, bending, repetitive motion, and regularly lifting 10–40 pounds.
A current Food Worker Card from the Washington State Department of Health is required.

Responsibilities

Wash dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and other food-preparation equipment used in the deli.
Clean deli production and service areas.
Take out trash, sweep, mop, and wipe down equipment.
Provide counter and barista service when needed.
Perform basic food preparation, packaging, and labeling when needed.
Ensure department sanitation, cleanliness, and safety standards are met.
Provide excellent, professional customer service when needed.
