About The Position

The Dishwasher is responsible for operating and maintaining the dish machine according to established guidelines, washing dishes, glasses, pots, and pans, and keeping the kitchen clean and orderly. The role includes handling trash, following safety and Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) protocols, and assisting with other kitchen duties, including banquet plating, when needed. The schedule may vary and can include nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Use established guidelines to operate and maintain the dish machine.
• Wash glasses and dishes in a standard dish rack.
• Wash pots and pans in the designated pot washer's area.
• Keep the kitchen neat and clean, including sweeping broken glass or dishes and mopping spills.
• Empty full and heavy trash cans, spray and sanitize them after each use, and replace trash bags.
• Follow MSDS protocols and safety guidelines.
• Perform duties in other kitchen areas as assigned, including assisting with banquet event plating when needed.
