DISHWASHER (PART TIME)
About The Position
Morrison Living is hiring a part-time Dishwasher at Hillcrest Senior Living in La Verne, California. The position maintains dishes, pots, pans, trays, kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in an orderly and sanitary condition. The schedule is part time, with days and hours that may vary and morning and evening shifts; weekend availability is required. The fixed pay rate is $19.00 per hour. Responsibilities
- Scrape and rinse food from dirty dishes, then wash them by hand or load them into a dishwashing machine as assigned; ensure cleanliness and sanitation.
- Wash pots, pans, and trays according to assigned procedures and ensure cleanliness and sanitation.
- Polish silver using the assigned equipment and procedures, ensuring cleanliness and sanitation.
- Follow outlined safety procedures.
- Maintain temperatures and chemical levels according to provided standards.
- Keep the dish area orderly and compliant with safety standards.
- Sweep and mop kitchen floors to meet safety and sanitation standards.
- Wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks, and other food preparation surfaces.
- Remove trash to designated containers and steam clean or hose out garbage cans.
- Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
- Help load and unload supplies and product.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
