About The Position

The Dishwasher assists the Executive Chef/Dietary Manager and Cook by washing dishes, utensils, pots, glassware, and other kitchen items. The role also performs kitchen cleaning activities, helps store food and kitchen items, and follows sanitation practices and Health Department regulations for food service. This is a part-time position with flexible hours, hiring immediately, at a starting pay of $16.

Requirements

• Knowledge of dishwashing and cleaning techniques and food service equipment.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate kitchen equipment and machinery, which may include a dishwasher, to wash dishes, utensils, pots, glassware, and other kitchen items.
• Assist with storing food and kitchen items.
• Perform a variety of kitchen cleaning activities.
• Practice proper sanitation and comply with Health Department regulations pertaining to food service.
