About The Position
Wicked Weed Brewing is seeking a part-time Dishwasher to join its back-of-house team at the Brewpub in Asheville, North Carolina. The role involves working quickly and efficiently for extended periods in a high-volume, fast-paced kitchen environment. The employee must have reliable transportation and flexible availability. The position has no direct supervisory responsibilities and reports to the Executive Chef. Duties and responsibilities may change or be supplemented as needed.
Requirements
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently for long periods in a high-volume work environment.

- Ability to stand and/or walk for long periods, including on wet or slippery surfaces.

- Ability to safely lift and/or move up to 55 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
- Ability to frequently reach with hands and arms and use hands to handle objects, tools, or controls.
- Vision sufficient for close and distance viewing and adjusting focus.
- Ability to work for extended periods amid changing temperatures and conditions, including heat, cold, and humidity.
Responsibilities
- Set up the dish pit and ensure chemicals are properly stocked and connected.
- Clean dishes and small wares.
- Perform other cleaning tasks as needed.
- Perform minor prep tasks as needed.
- Uphold food safety standards at all times.
- Carry out additional duties as assigned.
