About The Position
OceanView at Falmouth is a growing, family-owned retirement community located 3 miles from downtown Portland. The community is hiring a Dishwasher/Utility Worker to join its Dining Services team. Part-time and full-time positions are available, offering consistent work in a supportive team environment. The role involves washing dishes and kitchen equipment, maintaining kitchen cleanliness and sanitation, and providing general kitchen support as needed. No experience is required; training is provided. There are no minimum education requirements.
Requirements
- Reliable and dependable.
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset.
- Ability to stand for up to 8 hours per shift, up to 4 hours at a time.
- Ability to walk and move throughout the kitchen as needed.
Responsibilities
- Wash dishes, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen areas.
- Assist with general kitchen support as needed.
- Follow safety and sanitation guidelines.
